Why it’s Important!
We live in a state that enjoys over 300 days of sunshine, and all that beautiful weather encourages us to get outside and play! While the sun is great for our mood, it’s not great for our skin, which is why microdermabrasion is the perfect treatment to help keep your skin balanced and in tip-top shape!
What Does it Do?
Microdermabrasion is one of the quickest, gentlest and most non-invasive anti-aging treatments around today. One of the most interesting facts about microdermabrasion is that it uses a mechanical tool to suction away dead and damaged cells from the top layer of your skin (the stratum corneum, or the outermost layer of skin).
With all of that dead skin removed, you skin is left fresh and glowing! The only thing to be aware of is that your skin might be a bit sensitive and red after the treatment, depending on the individual. Your skin care professional/esthetician will make sure that you are hydrated and prepared for post-treatment care!
